Knight Ridder’s upbeat view may delay bids: sources
PHILADELPHIA (Reuters) - Newspaper publisher Knight Ridder Inc. , which put itself up for sale in November under pressure from shareholders, is issuing rosy financial projections during meetings this month with potential suitors that may end up slowing the auction process, sources close to the deal said on Thursday.
